Breton - Sword - Clothing - Heavy - Spellsword
Dibella encourages passion wherever it may be found. Heartwarders are aesthetes who actively seek out pleasure in all things, such as art, music, and other enjoyable pursuits.
The build is a lightly armour low damage spellsword build, where Calm is used to enchant/seduce enemies into being passive. I chose not to add in Master of the Mind so that it only works on creatures and people, but it will be an easier playthrough if you do take this perk. I also recommend using a companion for fighting dragons as on Legendary you are almost one shot from a single dragon bite or tail sweep.
Any sword at the beginning of the game and Boneshaver for the final weapon.
Talk to Azadi at Shor’s Stone to start a quest called interception. The conclusion of this quest chain has Boneshaver on Ismal. It does bleeding damage on an enemy and has infinite charges. It also does the same damage as a Skyforge Steel Sword, Blades Sword and a Scimitar but weighs 0.5 less.
Any Heavy armor at the start of the game. This is a low armor build so levelling your combat skill is easier if you stay armoured for a prolonged perriod. The final gear is a Belted Tunic, Indoril Boots, Indoril Gauntlets and a circlet. A damage reduction of 52% can be achieved with these items as the Indoril gear doesn’t benefit from a Smithing perk.
Lynea’s Amulet of Dibella from the Fishing creation is also used, which adds +15 speechcraft and 40 stamina. It’s the 8th quest from Viriya at Riften Docks.
A belted Tunic can be acquired from Radient Raiment in Solitude.
With the Elven Smithing perk you need 2 Netch Leather, 2 Gold Ingot and 7 Chitin Plate to make the Indoril boots and gauntlets. At least another 2 Chitin Plate are needed to improve the boots and gauntlets at a workbench. You can buy the Netch Leather and Chitin Plate on Solstheim from mechants in Raven Rock. Indoril Armor does not benefit from a Smithing perk which is why the damage reduction is average at best. It does go very nicely with the Belted Tunic so it's being used more for form than function.
Alteration for mage armour spells and paralysis spells. Heals from Restoration and also fire and forget spells such as Circle of Protection and Stendarr’s Aura.
Use the Atronach Stone for 50% spell absorption, 50 Magicka but -50% magicka regen.
Use a Shrine of Dibella for roleplay but a Shrins of Talos is more useful.
Location: Saerings Watch and two words from Hermaeus Mora (The Gardener of Men)
Useful to get Mass Paralysis to hit multiple targets without being staggered or damaged.
Location: Dead Men’s Respite, Volskygge, High Hrothgar (The Way of the Voice)
Use to reach otherwise inaccessible places and to quickly evade attacks or catch up with fleeing enemies.
Dibella is worshipped by human races rather than elven but High Elves get a 5 point skill boost over Bretons, who could be used as an alternative.
Distribute attributes at a ratio of 1 / 2 / 0. At level 60 which is required for all the perks the attributes are:

After reading the buiness ledger at Arcadia's Cauldron go the Whiterun Stables and on the body of a stablehand is a Detect Life sepllbook. This can be used to level Alteration. Cast this with both hands Until your magicka has run out as this will generate twice as much XP. Then your magicka has a chance to regenerate and repeat again.

---|---|---|
Conjure Familiar | Novice | ISummons a Familiar for 60 seconds wherever the caster is pointing. |
Soul Trap | Apprentice | If a target dies within 60 seconds, fills a soul gem. |
Conjuring a Familiar to tank enemies for you may make the game easier at the start but it’s doesn’t really fit with the build. Bretons get this spell at the start of the game.
Spell | Level | Description |
---|---|---|
Flames | Novice | A gout of fire that does 8 points per second. Targets on fire take extra damage |
You get Flames at the start of the game but never used it while playing.
Spell | Level | Description |
---|---|---|
Courage | Novice | Target won't flee for 60 seconds, and gets some extra health and stamina. |
Calm | Apprentice | Creatures and people up to level 9 won't fight for 30 seconds |
Pacify | Expert | Creatures and people up to level 20 won't fight for 60 seconds |
Harmony | Master | Creatures and people up to level 25 nearby won't fight for 60 seconds |
It's useful to get Calm early and use it often to level Illusion. Getting the Apprentice Illusion perk early makes this spell use significantly less Magicka to cast.

---|---|---|
Healing | Novice | Heals the caster 10 points per second |
Fast Healing | Apprentice | Heals caster by 50 points |
Close Wounds | Adept | Heals caster by 100 points |

Healing spells are used often to replenish Stamina so the Respite perk is very important to this build.
