Argonian - Waraxe - Light - Shield - Assassin - Knight
Those they name as heretics or servants of evil call them zealots. Those they protect from darkness call them saviors and defenders of the truth. Whatever their label, shadowbane stalkers rank as some of the most feared individuals wherever they go.
This is a prestige class in Dungeons and Dragons which is a combination of both a Cleric and a Rogue where the ability to Turn Undead and be able to cast Detect Evil from the Cleric and +2D6 sneak attack needed from the rogue.
The playstyle is to use Dismay to fear weak enemies while you do a sneak attack on the toughest enemy. Then you can either remain in sneak, if not detected, or engage the remaining enemies in melee combat or charge them with your shield to knock them down. Paralysis poisons are also used against living enemies to help in the early part of the game, but you can continue to use them if you wish.
Dawnguard War Axe, which you can get from the battlements of Fort Dawnguard.
Morag Tong Armor, Torturer’s Hood, light Dawnguard Boots, light Dawnguard Gauntlets, Hide Shield. The Morag Tong Armor can be found on Solstheim by talking to the guard captain to the east of Raven Rock and then following the quest chain to the conclusion. The Torturer’s Hood is available from Helgen Prison from the Torturer. The Dawnguard boots and gauntlets can be collected for free from within Fort Dawnguard
Restoration for heals and fire and forget spells against undead. Alteration for detect spells.
Guardian Stones while levelling and then The Atronach Stone once the Atronach perk is acquired.
Use a shrine of Talos for the 20% shout cooldown reduction.
Location: Dead Crone Rock, Lost Tongue Overlook, Shalidor’s Maze
Used to fear weak enemies so you can focus on attacking the tougher targets.
Location: Just follow the main story quests
Staggers enemies but I never really used it.
Location: Dead Men’s Respite, Volskygge, High Hrothgar (The Way of the Voice)
Use to reach otherwise inaccessible places and to quickly evade attacks or catch up with fleeing enemies.
Dark Elf, High Elf and Imperials get a 5 point boost in the build over Argonians. However, Argonians gets a better boost to the used schools of magic and the actively used rogue skills.
Pick female as the sex for your character as there are more male humanoids than females to fight in Skyrim so the 10% damage bonus against the opposite sex from Agent of Dibella gets more use. All Dwemer Automatons count as Male.
The minimum factions to join for the build are the Dawnguard. They should be joined to easily get the Stendarr's Aura spell. The armour pieces and the war axe can be acquired before picking a side.
